kEn_sct is an amazing Pusher Elite player. He just recorded a ride where he set the new worldwide best score for Dragonforce's Through the Fire and Flames:

He's also shared his strategies in a couple videos:

Lost on Purpose

Posted by: Lebeth on May 09, 08 | 7:12 pm

In a nod to our sometimes neglected acoustic brethren, Audiosurf is proud to present Lost on Purpose on Radio this week. Will of "Lost on Purpose" claims that he was born on a mountaintop in Tennessee (it must be his spiritual place of birth since he was actually born in Ohio), and you can hear it from the folksy tunes he spins--the twang of a piano here or a hand clap there. If you are a fan of the cowbell you'll be in heaven listening to the catchy tune "The 70s." Will has also written possibly the only love song to the state of Ohio in existence (especially one that involves a xylophone). There's an innocence and an openness of emotion in these songs that really captured our attention, and the unusual pairing of instruments (a cello with a guitar and drums on "Not if but when" for instance) kept us wanting more.

World of Techno

It turns out that Kyle Gabler (of 2D Boy Studios' award-winning games "Tower of Goo" and "World of Goo") is a true Renaissance Man. Not only is he a great game developer, but he also dabbles in electronic music composition. Next thing we know he'll be over at our house cooking souffles or sculpting or doing something else to amaze us. What's that? World of Goo t-shirts are now available at Target stores?? See, there he goes again.

We're also proud to present a couple rockin songs from Terry Bogus--will it sound too blasphemous if we say that the lead singer's voice reminds us a bit of Trent Reznor? Well--maybe if Trent had grown up in the Netherlands. As Americans, we imagine there's only so much angst you can have being from the Netherlands, but these boys have got it and we're likin it. If you like what you hear and you live in the UK, they'll be touring there this July. They assure us they'll be playing lots of Audiosurf on the road.
